Make your own set of flashcards:

Flashcard      (noun)

/ˈflaʃ kɑːd/

: A card bearing words, numbers, or pictures that is briefly displayed (as by a teacher to a class) usually as a learning aid

Merriam Webster

Probably, you are all familiar with the concept “Flashcards”, and you have used them before. These cards are one of the best ways to learn new things (especially a new language like English) and improve your memory. You can buy pre-prepared flashcards or you can make your own set at home.

To make FLASHCARDS, you should:
  1. Choose a topic.
  2. Study that topic.
  3. Separate all the words/ things you don’t understand.
  4. Prepare your cards. You can cut a paper into some small pieces, or use pre-prepared papers available at stores. (The most standard size is 3 by 5 inches)
  5. Write down the information on the cards. Ex: You can write the word you have trouble with on one side of the card and its meaning, the pronunciation, part of speech, … on the other side.
  6. Your flashcard is now ready. You can put them in your pocket and study them wherever you want.
